Unfortunately, the high-price is an indication of the quality. For anyone that's spent a third of the price on competition-style weightlifting collars, will know from experience why they cost a third of the price. These are precision collars (we used them in a Guinness World Records lift!) and extremely well-made. Features of the ATX Olympic Weightlifting Collars: Made of steel with chrome finish. Clamp and spin-lock mechanism. Suitable for use with traditional olympic lifts. Sold as a pair. Weighs 5kg for the pair of collars (2.5kg each collar). New short-style design.
