Who looks after your information

Home Gym Handbook is operated by Digital Flux Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16964684. Registered office: 285 Dodworth Road, Barnsley, S70 6PF.

Digital Flux Ltd is the data controller. For enquiries or privacy requests, email [email protected] or write to our registered office.

When you browse

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as your IP address, requested page and browser information to deliver the website and help prevent abuse. We use this information for our legitimate interests in running a reliable, secure website.

This public catalogue does not load advertising or analytics trackers. Your theme choice is stored in your browser; you can remove it by clearing this website’s browser data. Rack choices, filters and comparison selections appear in the page address, so anyone you share a link with can see those selections.

Where a product photo loads from a retailer’s website, that retailer receives an image request, including connection information such as your IP address.

When you contact us

We receive your email address, any name you provide and the contents of your message. We use them to reply, investigate corrections and keep a record of how we handled your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in helping visitors and maintaining an accurate catalogue.

Sharing this information is voluntary, but we need a way to contact you if you want a reply. Please leave out payment details, identity documents and other sensitive information. We don’t publish your contact details with catalogue corrections.

Who receives information

Our hosting and email providers handle information needed to provide their services. We may also share it with professional advisers or authorities when needed to meet a legal obligation or deal with a legal claim. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we are responsible for ensuring an appropriate UK data protection safeguard applies. Contact us for details about the providers and safeguards relevant to your information.

See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for more about its processing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to resolve the matter and deal with related corrections, complaints or legal claims. We consider the nature of the enquiry and any legal retention requirements, then delete or anonymise information we no longer need. Service providers apply their own retention periods to operational logs. Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them or your browser removes them.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, restrict how it is used, or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. These rights have exceptions; we’ll explain any that apply to your request.

Email [email protected] to make a request. We may need enough information to confirm that we are dealing with the right person. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Retailer websites and future features

Retailer links open another website, where that retailer’s privacy policy applies. The public catalogue currently uses ordinary retailer links and does not accept payments, accounts, ratings or comments. We don’t make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We’ll update this notice if we introduce features that change how we use personal information.
